Now on the 18th day of March 2024, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order.

Chairman Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call. Roll call was answered by Gossen, present; Goeringer, present; Chandler, present.

The Board reviewed the minutes of the previous regular meeting. Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the minutes as presented. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the blanket purchase orders as filed in the County Clerk’s Office. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the payroll for all county employees for the month of March. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to sign Resolution No. 2024-11 disposing of the following equipment for District 1:

•D307-0081 – 2012 John Deere Motor Grader, S/N 1DW772GXTCE642819, Acquired 02/14/2012 from C.L. Boyd in the amount of $228,775.00, sold at the CED Auction to Jesse Olmeda, Mission, TX for $67,500.00.

Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes. Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gossen to sign Resolution No. 2024-12 disposing of the following equipment for District 3:

•D441-0075 – 2018 John Deere Rotary Mower, S/N 1P0HX15FAHT079410, Acquired 03/05/2018 from John Deere Company in the amount of $16,451.05; sold at the CED Auction to Sam Burgess, Graham, TX for $7,500.00.

•D302-0099 – 2005 Kenworth Truck w/dumpbed, S/N 3BKMLZ9X35F080115, Acquired 07/12/2004 from MHC Kenworth in the amount of $70,097.00; sold at the CED Auction to Mike Prather, Grove, OK for $21,000.00.

• D302-0101 – 2005 Kenworth Truck w/ dumpbed, S/N 2NKMLZ9X76M133832, Acquired 09/06/2005 from MHC Kenworth in the amount of $79,670.00; sold at the CED Auction to Jason Simon, Elk City, OK for $26,000.00.
