A great opportunity for high school juniors is taking place during the 2019-20 academic year at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and Sayre.

SWOSU is offering qualified high school juniors with tuition free enrollment in concurrent courses up to three credit hours per semester, starting this Fall semester. The offer is made possible by funding provided by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and SWOSU.

“We know juniors are preparing for their upcoming collegiate careers, and this free program will benefit the students—and their parents—in many ways,” SWOSU President Randy Beutler said. “SWOSU is pleased to begin this program for high school juniors.”

SWOSU will waive up to three credit hours of tuition each semester for juniors. Students are responsible for paying fees and books. Enrollment for the Fall 2019 semester is underway. The semester begins August 19.

Tuition free concurrent courses are already provided to high school seniors at SWOSU. High school seniors can also enroll now for the upcoming 2019 Fall semester.

For more information on concurrent course offerings, high school juniors and seniors can contact the SWOSU Admissions and Recruitment Office at 580.774.3782 or admissions@swosu.edu .
