Cordell Police, Fire, and EMS, along with Washita County Sheriff’s deputies led a group of community members on a parade Sunday afternoon.

The group left the Calvary Baptist Church at around 2:00 p.m. Sunday and wound their way to the Baptist Village and then to the Cordell Christian Home to provide socially distant visits to the residents of both facilities. Long-term care and retirement facilities have been on lockdown since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, with residents unable to see visitors directly.
