July 14, 8:47 p.m. - A caller reported to police that the neighbors let their dog out at this time every night to run around to the neigbors’ yards to do its business. The caller said the situation is getting old, since the neighbors in question have a fenced in back yard but they don’t turn the dog loose there. She said the dog tears up her flower beds and poops in them. She has tried to speak to the owner about it, but to no avail.

July 14, 8:48 p.m. - A caller reported a suspicious person around an apartment complex in Cordell. The caller said the suspect appeared to be “wigging out.”

July 14, 9:21 p.m. - County Sheriff’s deputies were on the lookout for a suspicous person in the area of the Grace Baptist Church.

July 14, 9:30 p.m. - A caller reported a light going on at a vacant house nearby. He requested an officer check to see that no one is there.

July 15, 2:43 a.m. - A caller requested additional patrols as somone had been making threats against her because she “hangs out with” another individual.

July 15, 3:55 p.m. - A caller reported a pickup truck and trailer parked in the middle of the road on 14th Street in a no passing zone.

Fire responded.

July 15, 5:05 p.m. - A caller reported the presence of a subject being sought by Cordell police.

July 15, 5:18 p.m. - A 911 caller reported a fire near Bessie. Dispatch advised the caller it was a controlled burn, but she did not believe them. Bessie Fire was paged and confirmed it was a controlled burn, but went out to verify.

July 15, 6:31 p.m. - A 911 caller reported seeing a male subject breaking into a building in Burns Flat. She could not provide a description of the subject as all she saw were feet going through the window.

July 15, 9:52 p.m. - A caller requested police go to a trailer in a Cordell trailer park as there was a lot of noise and loud music coming from the trailer and she suspected the people were drunk and it needs to stop.

July 15, 10:33 p.m. - A woman reported a male and female subject were walking near Cordell Park and the female was half naked. She stated “it was bad enough that her 19-year-old son was taking pictures.”

July 16, 12:28 a.m. - A caller reported cattle in the road on Highway 55.

July 17, 4:46 p.m. - A caller contacted dispatch in an attempt to contact family.

July 17, 6:28 p.m. - A caller reported a large dog on the loose.

July 17, 11:49 p.m. - A caller requested a deputy come out to check the area as she is not home but her phone is going off with alerts. She can see people outside her home and they’ve been there for about an hour.

July 16, 6:07 p.m. - A 911 caller reported a grass fire near Bessie.

July 16, 7:34 p.m. - A caller reported a power outage in Cordell.

July 17, 1:22 a.m. - A person showed up at the Cordell Police Department to report hitting a stop sign, the reporting party brought the sign with them.

July 17, 8:30 a.m. - Cattle were reported on the loose.

July 17, 3:41 p.m. - A caller requested a welfare check on an animal.
