Local churches of the Ministerial Alliance will be presenting this year’s Christmas Cantata entitled ‘Come Let Us Adore’ on Sunday, December 12th at 5:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cordell.
Directed by First Baptist Church Music Minister Rodney Maynard, the Cantata will feature solos, group and ensemble vocal performances by various members of the Ministerial Alliance churches.
There will be a love offering taken up at the service, and Candy Rogers of the Judah House of Praise explained how that money is used.
“The Ministerial Alliance does so many wonderful things for the community such as helping with utility bills, distributing Christmas baskets, and helping those in need throughout the year. The offering taken up at the end of the Cantata is used by the Alliance for these purposes,” Rogers said.
A time of fellowship will take place after the program concludes. Refreshments will be served.
“We hope the community will come out and enjoy ‘Come Let Us Adore.’ It will be a wonderful evening,” said Patti Romberg, First Baptist Church.
