First COVID-19 vaccines to hit Oklahoma around Dec. 11

The Oklahoma State Department of Health announced today that about 43,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be available in mid-December for frontline healthcare workers.

The plan will be the first phase of the distribution of the vaccine.

Oklahoma will receive 33,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and at least 10,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
