Cordell resident and city councilman James Newman is the first winner in our “Favorite Views Of Cordell” contest. Newman captured this birdseye view of the Cordell water tower and surrounding neighborhood from his drone.

The Favorite Views of Cordell contest is designed to help promote the beauty of this community by allowing Cordell and area residents to show off the views of the area they most admire. We’d love to see what you love about the place in which we live, so start snapping and enter your photos in the contest today!

To enter a photo in the contest, email it to editor@cordellbeacon.com, in the highest available resolution. Social media sharing generally compresses photographs to the point that they will not print legibly.

There is no limit to the number of entries a person can send, nor is there a limit on the number of times a person can win and see their photo on the front page of The Beacon, so keep those photos coming.
