Elk City Chamber Of Commerce Presents Fall Festival Sept. 21-22

The Elk City Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the 46th Annual Elk City Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 22 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Elk City Convention Center at 1016 East Airport Industrial Road. Admission is free.

Billed as the largest arts & crafts show in Western Oklahoma, this year’s event will feature artists and crafts people who will be displaying their items for purchase throughout the entire weekend.

“From fine arts, to pottery, to ceramics, to custom-made jewelry and more, the Fall Festival is a terrific way to get a head start on your holiday shopping,” stated chamber executive director Susie Cupp. “This is definitely one of our favorite events according to our local residents and the many visitors from around the region and the committee does an outstanding job in pulling it all together.”

Along with more than 150 professional booths expected at this year’s event, the festival will include student art displays from area high schools, along with great food vendors. Those confirmed for the show include: Elk City FFA Parents Concession, MMP Concessions, Blue Mountain Smoke, Pacific Brim, Cravings by Elegant Events, Rene’s Gourmet, The Snack Box, Monaco Express, and Sno Way Shaved Ice. The food vendors will also be serving beverages.

Music will be provided by “Ponce Productions” on Saturday from 11:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. and “From A To Z,” an acoustic duo, on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Performing on Saturday at noon in the south exhibit hall will be Red Dirt Gymnastics & Tumbling along with Aerial Bound Tumble & Cheer at 2:00 p.m.

Also, the Elk City High School Cheerleaders are excited to be doing free face painting on Saturday and Sunday, from 1:00-p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the south exhibit hall.

The Fall Festival committee will present numerous awards in selected booth categories. Awards to be presented in the professional booths category will be Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for fine art, photography, pottery, sculpture and fine woods.

The Fall Festival committee would like to thank the City of Elk City for helping us set up and also helping with some of our advertising, along with Troy Jones Equipment, Aloha Gardens and Janie’s Garden Center. Also, thank you to all our volunteers and exhibitors.
