Fourth grader Dakota Ivey lives a busy country girl life at home in Bessie with her animals and family. She is our Cordell Beacon Student Spotlight and here are some things she would like you to know.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I have three dogs, seven cats and a horse. I am the oldest of four. I am eight and three quarters years older than my youngest sibling. I like embroidering and sending it to family members.
How has your school year been so far?
Really good. My favorite thing is either Music or Science. I liked making the roller coasters in Science.
What has been your favorite part about school since you started?
I like the drum circle in Music. We got to do Rapid Fire.
What are you most excited for this school year?
Learning to play a song on my recorder.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A veterinarian or a pet sitter
What makes you happy?
Riding horses and playing with my dogs.
