Cordell Fire and Rescue, working with the Washita County Sheriff’s Department and the Cordell Police Department, conducted a traffic crash and extrication exercise Thursday, June 27, 2019.
“We worked together to help learn about a dangerous situation of a car trapped under a an anhydrous tank,” said Cordell firefighter Jason Dudgeon. “It went extremely well and both crash dummies were rescued and are expected to make a full recovery. We are constantly training to be prepared for whatever is thrown our way to make sure we are prepared to protect the people of our community.”
