Like most other events in recent months, the Blue Devil Homecoming festivities are a little different this year, but students and their families are still going to celebrate.
The annual parade and float building competition are not happening but individual classes, grades seven through twelve, are designing and creating large banners which will be hung and displayed at the football game.
A pep assembly is scheduled at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 and will take place at the football field. Later that evening, at 6:30 p.m., the Homecoming Royalty will be presented and the Queen will be crowned.
Queen candidates and their escorts are: Sophomore Piper Gallagher, escorted by Senior Bode Gallagher; Junior Abbey Brawley, escorted by Senior Raydon Kuehne; and Senior Loriann Parsons, who will be escorted by Senior Cameron Cochran.
Seniors will be honored during the game’s halftime in the annual Blue Devil Senior Night ceremony.
The Blue Devils will kick off against the Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles at 7:00 p.m.
