Cordell Acquires New Police Cars

Cordell’s police will have a whole new look soon, with the addition of two new cars to the police fleet. The police department recently purchased two 2018 Dodge Charger police intereptors, both of which should be in service on the streets of Cordell in the very near future.

The new vehicles were purchased from the Kansas Highway Patrol surplus fleet at a price of $21,100 per vehicle. The cars have been delivered, but won’t officially go into service until they have been lettered. According to police chief Brandon Rogers, the white vehicles will be lettered in Cordell blue, in honor of the Cordell Blue Devils.
