The Cloud Chief HCE met Sept. 9 at the home of Virginia Walker for their monthly meeting.
The flag salute opened the meeting. “Genuine Cooperation” was sang by the group. The devotional was the Serenity Prayer.
The lesson on finding afforable and fun things for seniors to do in Oklahoma was given by Mary Cook. Handouts were given on suggestions of places to visit in Oklahoma and ideas on discounts for seniors.
Reports were given on the Relay for Life event held on Sept. 7. Also was reported that the group had a complete exhibit at the Washita County Fair in August. There were 18 first place ribbons, 13 second place ribbons, and seven third place ribbons by the members.
Cultural arts was an old inherited entertainment center and various tapestries of Indian heritage.
