Voters in the Canute School District will decide two bond propositions in next Tuesday’s Runoff Primary election.
They can begin casting their votes early Thursday at the County Election Board inside the Washita County Courthouse in Cordell.
Election Board Secretary Leah Jones said early voting will be conducted Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Tuesday, voters must cast their ballots at their voting precincts and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Proposition 1 that Canute School patrons will vote on is for $560,000 for constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school buildings and acquiring school furniture, fixtures, and equipment and acquiring and improving school sites.
Proposition No. 2 they will be deciding is for $440,000 and is to be used for purchasing transportation equipment.
