The Cordell All Sports Booster Club will be conducting a reverse lottery during the 2019-2020 Cordell High School basketball season. The winner could win up to $5,000 during the last basketball game of the season.
The booster club will be selling tickets between Oct. 31 and Nov. 27, 2019, for $50 per ticket. A maximum of 205 tickets will be sold, creating a total potential pot of $10,250.
During each the Dec. 3, Dec. 10, and Dec. 20 high school home games 25 names will be drawn and eliminated. An additional 24 names will be eliminated during each of the junior high and high school games on Jan. 6, Jan. 14, Jan. 20, and Jan. 30.
The final 10 tickets will be drawn at the final high school home game against Navajo on Feb. 4, 2020. The winner will receive $5,000 if all of the tickets were purchased. If not, he or she will receive half of the total amount collected.
