The Cordell Beacon’s Blue Devil Beat is proud to bring you weekly updates on many school activities, such as upcoming games, fundraisers, club meetings, and much more. This special section will keep you updated on all of the important things happening in and around our school. We will feature interviews from teachers, coaches, and students, giving you an inside look on what is going on at Cordell Public Schools.
The Cordell Junior Class is hosting a turkey dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8.
The dinner will be in the high school cafeteria, and prices for meals are as follows: 6-years-old and up, $10; children under 5, $5. Along with traditional dine in, meal delivery and takeout are available this year. To place an order, call (580)-832-3420 ext. 210.
All funds collected from the supper will go toward the 2021 CHS prom, organized by the junior class. The turkey dinner fundraiser was planned and will be operated by the junior class and their sponsors: Shara Garmon, David Garmon, Bobby Blackburn, Buddy Holman, Matt Ford and Jean Ann Balzer.

In other news, The Cordell High School Blue Devil Football Team will be back in action this week, with a full team. The upcoming game will be Friday in Walters. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The Cordell Cheer Squad encourages everyone to wear halloween themed garments at this game to show your spirit while supporting our Blue Devil boys.
