The Burns Flat Dill City senior 4-H club met for their 21-22 organizational meeting September 16th after school.
There were nine members and 5 guests present. The 4 new members were introduced. Mrs. Mason, our leader, provided snacks and pizza that was enjoyed by everyone.
A review of the 2020-2021 activities was presented to show a sampling of the many opportunities available. Officers for the 21-22 school year were elected and include: Kathryn Sirmon-President, Evie Denny-Vice President, Jamie Prater-Secretary/Treasurer, Brance Barnett-Reporter, Aubrey Sturgeon-Song/ Game Leader, Joey Mooney-Photographer, Kaylee Miller-Chaplain. Other members present were: Danny Shulte, Kora Tipton and Ryleigh St. John. We discussed fundraisers for the year. Upcoming events include a dutch oven cook off and cupcake wars at the Tulsa State Fair. October will be a busy month for us with national 4-H week, the proclamation signing and West Action Conference which will be held in Weatherford. We were also reminded to save pop tabs for the state service learning project “Change for Change”
