Another surgical specialist will soon practice in Clinton.

Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Alex Habashy will begin seeing patients at AllianceHealth Clinton August 15.

Dr. Habashy will join Dr. Moses’s group, and the two will see patients in Clinton on alternating Thursdays.

“Bringing Dr. Habashy to Custer County allows AllianceHealth Clinton to continue to expand our range of services and provide the highest level of medical care for western Oklahoma patients with orthopedic needs,” said hospital CEO Landon Hise.

Dr. Habashy is eager to begin his Oklahoma practice. A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Dr. Habashy is completing his residency in New Orleans where he is the Administrative Chief Resident.

Dr. Habashy is a member of the American Medical Association, the Memphis Medical Society, the Louisiana Orthopedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

A sports enthusiast, he has played soccer for many years, including Club soccer in Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans.

Dr. Habashy has also participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of American organization as a big brother in Missouri and Tennessee.

Hise expressed his gratitude that a physician with Dr. Habashy’s skill and desire to contribute to the community is coming to Clinton.

“At AllianceHealth Clinton, we take pride in our professionalism, the level of care that we offer our patients, and our compassion and concern for the community,” Hise said. “Dr. Habashy fits in nicely within this framework.”
