Jeff Sawatzky, a fourth-generation farmer and rancher, announced on Feb. 16, that he has officially entered the race for State House, District 55.
“I’ve been working this land for decades and want to give back to the community and people who have been so good to me and my family,” said Sawatzky. “With our country under attack by racial liberals, we need trustworthy, dependable men and women to step up and fight for freedom and the rule of law.”
Sawatzky started his career from humble beginnings with a “cheap pickup, 10 cows and an American dream.” Today, he is a successful farmer, rancher and small businessman. “Farming and hard work are in my blood,” said Sawatzky.
“I’m a patriot. Like President Trump, I know firsthand that putting America first is key to saving our economy.”

“I believe in law and order and that our nation’s founding principles must be fought for and guarded. I will defend the US Constitution, stand for the Second Amendment and fight for the rights of the unborn.”
Sawatzky is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association and serves on the board of Conservative District 86.
He is married to his wife of 24 years, Amber, who teaches third grade. The couple have three children: Justin, 23, Molly, 20, and Mindy, 16.
