Saxon Flores is a third grader in Mrs. Feltman’s class. He has attended Cordell Schools since kindergarten. Saxon loves animals, especially his cat Mittens. He recently took a few minutes to answer some questions for the Beacon.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself? For example your favorite class, favorite thing about school, do you have any pets, hobbies, etc.
I like to read. I guess my favorite class is Music and my favorite hobby is riding my four wheeler. I like working at the Washita Theater. I have a pet cat named Mittens.
How has your school year been so far? Have you done anything fun or anything that stands out? *
Good, pretty good. I have done my Bookit Calendar. It is where if you read your books all month and you get a Pizza Hut ticket.
What has been your favorite part about school since you started? Do you have any favorite memories?
Music and soccer. We usually play soccer every day on the playground.
What are you most excited for this school year?
Christmas Break. We do a lot of fun stuff around the holidays.

What makes you happy?
Getting my cat is the best thing ever. I got her from Harper Vet at the square. I got her because they found her. She needed a good home.
