Kelli Kay Messenger, 33, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away December 15th, 2022 at Marquis Plaza Regency where she lived and was a favorite among staff and residents.
Kelli was born on August 14, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV to Russell and Brenda (Holman) Messenger.
She was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a rare genetic neurological disorder, in 1993.
Kelli was the light of her family and the core of her household. She was a friend to all and a gift to anyone who knew her personally. Kelli positively influenced and inspired many lives while teaching life lessons to anyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
Kelli touched the hearts and minds of everyone she met. The family has been honored to have had such a special angel to call their own.
Her patience, smiles, and loving heart will be missed greatly.
Kelli is survived by her father Russell (Las Vegas, NV), sister Lindsey (Fort Collins, CO), grandmothers Blanche Messenger and Laverne Lundy, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kelli was welcomed into Heaven by her Mother, Brenda, and Grandfathers Wallace Messenger and Benjamin Holman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation in honor of Kelli.
Rest in peace, Sissy. Run and play like you never could on Earth.
