Oklahoma’s primary runoff election will be held on August 25th, with early voting beginning on August 20th.
In-person absentee voting- more commonly referred to as “early voting” in Oklahoma- is available to all voters. No excuse is needed.
You can vote early in Washita County at the Election Office in the courthouse in Cordell on Thursday, August 20th, and Friday, August 21st from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturday, August 22nd from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Registered Democrats will choose between Jim Priest and N’Kiyla Thomas for US Senate.
Registered Republicans will choose between Mike Mazzei and Gentner Drummond for Governor, James Taylor and Robert Franklin for Superintendent of Public Education, John Pfeiffer and Kevin West for Commissioner of Labor, and Marty L. Quinn and Bob Sullivan for Insurance Commissioner. Voters eligible to vote for Washita County Commissioner District No. 1 will choose between incumbent Bart Gossen and Chris Shields.
