Rusty Bookout has announced his intent to file for the office of Washita County Assessor.
Rusty is a longtime resident of Washita County. He has helped with every aspect of his family’s farm near Bessie and Dill City. He has a good understanding of the challenges related to agriculture.
Rusty graduated from Burns Flat-Dill City High School and continued his education at Oklahoma State University. He earned a BS degree in Agribusiness and Agriculture Real Estate Appraisals. His education focused on advancing his knowledge in the business he loves, Agriculture.
During high school and college, Rusty was an active member of the Dill City Fire Department and is now a member of the Bessie Fire Department.
Bookout states “I have a servant’s heart and would like the opportunity to serve my home county. I feel I would be a great asset to the Assessor’s office by bringing my excellent work ethic to this position.”
“I would appreciate your vote and support and look forward to serving the citizens of Washita County,” Bookout continued.
