2023 has started with a lots of activity and things happening at CMH. As you have read in last week’s news the Clinton hospital closed at noon on December 31 and we began to receive patients in our ED. The number of patients that are seen at the CMH ED per day has increased and the staff at CMH is committed to ensure that all patients receive excellent care. It is expected that the Clinton hospital will be closed approximately six months. We evaluate each day the impact to CMH. This has been a way for us to introduce and share the services that are provided by CMH to the community in Washita County and now Custer County. We are here to provide you care, One Great Team Caring for YOU! February also brings new things to CMH as the CMH Wound Care Center will begin on Thursday, February 2 at Cordell Memorial Hospital. There will be wound care provided each week as an outpatient service and when there is a need for any inpatient wound care they will also be providing wound care.It is also Heart Month in February and we will be offering the Heart Scan for $50 as we have done in the previous year. We encourage you to take care of your heart and this month is always a great reminder to take care of yourself. We are gearing up for the Washita County Health Fair on March 31-April 1, more to come on the fun activities for the fair. Please keep your eye on our Facebook page for more news and information about things happening at CMH.Please let us know of anything we can do for you, please call 580-832-36339.
