Willing Workers met on June 6, 2019, of their regular meeting. The month of June is always “do your own thing.” That being the case, Willing Workers chose to make a drive to Corn, where according to an article in Oklahoma Today magazine there is a cafe that serves German food. It turns out that special for the day was smoked sausage, cabbage, and fried potatoes. None of the group wanted that so other choices had to be made, but some did choose schnitzel for dessert and some chose home-made peach cobbler.

Rebecca Haggard read a devotional article based on the book of Mark. Lois Johnson read a thought for the day.

Roll call was answered by Rebecca, Lois, Oma June Pitzer, and Glenna Rose. Each one told something they would like to do this summer.

All agreed it was a fun way to spend a rainy day.
