Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s pool has new hours, and a new challenge has been started on the Weatherford campus.

Paul Hummel, instructor in the SWOSU Parks and Recreation Department, said 100- and 200-mile swim clubs have been started. Participants will keep a log of their swims in the SWOSU pool and when they reach the milestones of 100 and 200 miles, their names will be placed on the wall of fame for recognition. Log sheets are located on the bulletin board by the pool entrance.

Pool hours are:

*6-8 a.m. Monday-Friday

*12 noon-2 p.m. Monday-Friday

*5-8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday-Friday

*1-4 p.m. Saturday

Hummel reminds individuals to present a valid SWOSU I.D. for access to the pool, located in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse.
