Is your life worth your spending a penny on a $1.00 purchase, or a dollar per $100.00 that you spend in Cordell? Hopefully it is! It certainly is to us!

If you have a heart attack, need pain relief from a kidney stone or experience any traumatic event, it’s comforting to know Cordell Memorial Hospital is only a few minutes away. They have a professional, courteous and caring staff that is capable of treating and or stabilizing you.

An extra 15 or 30 minute (at least) drive to another hospital might be the difference between life and death for any of us.

Also, let’s think of the economic impact. It’s tough keeping small towns alive and prospering. If we lose the hospital, think of the negative impact of lost jobs, not only from the hospital doctors and staff, but also the downward spiral and possible loss of our pharmacies, nursing home, and Baptist Village, who are all dependent on having a local hospital and doctors on call. Eventually our school system and every single business in our community will be affected. Let’s not let that happen!

We love Cordell and our hospital and will be voting “YES”, on September 10! We hope you will do the same! God Bless.

Gene and Aleta Jorgensen, Cordell
