Time to get excited! It’s Pumpkin Festival Day in Cordell on Saturday Oct. 14th starting a 8 a.m. with the baking contest registration. Judging will be at 9 a.m.

The parade will start at 10 a.m. and there will be activities all day long. There are over 110 vendors going to set up around the square.

Leading the parade will be Cordell’s award winning marching band. They continue to make Cordell proud! Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Edge for tehir wonderful teaching for the band and the Color Guard!

The Cordell high school football game this week will be played on Thursday October 12 at 1 p.m. at Hobart.

This is becuase of a shortage of referees.

The 36th Annual Pumpkin Festival will have a stunning car show with contest for the loudest exhaust, car audio and a burnout contest. There will be live entertainment throughout the day and a movie and a haunted house at night.

It wll be a great day for everyone! Come to Cordell and spend the day.
