Cordell Park was buzzing with excitement this past Saturday as the community gathered for a day filled with fun and festivities at the annual Eggstravaganza event. Hosted by the Cordell Chamber of Commerce, the event saw an incredible turnout, drawing people of all ages to join in the celebration.

The day kicked off with the much-anticipated Easter egg hunt, featuring over 3,500 eggs generously donated by members of the community. Children and adults alike eagerly searched for hidden treasures, adding an extra element of thrill to the day.

In addition to the egg hunt, attendees had the opportunity to explore the vibrant array of vendors lining the park, offering everything from handmade crafts to delicious treats. Bingo games added to the excitement, while the Easter bunny made special appearances, delighting children and spreading joy throughout the park.

“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a success,” said a representative from the Cordell Chamber of Commerce. “From those who donated eggs to our dedicated vendors and all who came out to support, we couldn’t have done it without you.”

Looking ahead, the Cordell Chamber of Commerce has even more exciting events planned for the community to enjoy. On April 20th, residents can look forward to “Shop the Blocks,” a day dedicated to supporting local businesses. Then mark your calendars for June 8th for the town-wide garage sale, offering residents the chance to buy and sell treasures throughout Cordell. Finally, on June 29th, the Hometown Celebration will offer families a day of togetherness and entertainment.
