So, what is the point? That is the ultimate question, right? The ultimate worldview question: what is the point? Ultimately, there must be a point to it all, rather than not. We humans possess the attributes that we do for some reason.

What a wonderful wheat season we had this year! The harvest started the first of June and ended three weeks later.A farmer is a person who starts out with nothing, loses out on everything he plants, and still comes out even at the end of the year. No one can figure out how he does it.

I feel the need to address the Superintendent issues. After reading [the last few] week’s letters to the Editor I felt like our school system as a whole needs some postive. So here’s my postive.. Mr. Victory has always demonstrated compassion and always been respectful towards me.

Beauty. Such an interesting topic. It is a topic that everyone has an opinion about, and all opinions are; we want more beauty in our lives. As we said last week, beauty is food for the soul.

It is usually wise for your newspaper Editor to remain neutral on controversial topics; however, as a parent and Aunt of children in our Cordell school system, I feel compelled by my conscience to take a stand for our school.
