2022 Junior Livestock Show
Four Washita County Schools, Cordell, Sentinel, Burns Flat-Dill City and Canute, were represented at the Washita County Junior Livestock Show with 65 exhibitors on Monday, Feb. 21st.
The show ring, where the animals are exhibited, is a great tool to introduce youth to competition as well as several life lessons. With healthy competition comes resilience and perseverance. Exhibiting livestock teaches youth far more than how to showcase an animal, they also learn the significance of sportsmanship.
