Farmer’s COOP Exchange receives first loads of wheat for 2022 harvest

Washita County farmer Monte Nickel delivered the first load of wheat of the season to the Bessie Farmer’s COOP. Pictured with Monte (right) is COOP Manager Randy Wanzer (left) Test weight was 55 and moisture was 12%. Nickel cut this wheat from a field 4 1/2 miles east of Bessie.

The Cordell COOP also received its first load from Matt Willard over the Holiday weekend.
