The Cordell High School Cross Country team put on an impressive showing at the Pre-Stale meet in Edmond on Saturday, September 21st, with several athletes securing top finishes despite the challenging conditions.
Leading the charge for Cordell was Calliy Walker, w ho delivered a exceptional performance, finishing in 4th place. Her relentless pace and focus earned her recognition as one of the top runners in the field. Not far behind, Jacob Vela claimed 24th place, showcasing his strong endurance and determination. Baylor Moore also made a notable impact, earning a medal for finishing in the lop 30!
Coach Horn praised the team's hard work, especially considering the scorching heat that made the race even more demanding. 'Despite the intense heat, the athletes showcased incredible determination and gave it everything they had,' she said. 'Well done team!'
