Cordell Memorial Hospital

A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

It continues to be a hot time but I hope by the time of this article we will see a small break in the temperatures and hopefully some much needed rain. We

continue to remind you to keep yourself hydrated during the day whether you are inside or outside. It is best to limit your time outside but if you have to be outside for long periods of time keep the water close to you. Water is the best way to keep yourself hydrated. School starting is not far away and it is during this hot time of year. Keep your kids hydrated. The Cordell Family Clinic will be doing the sport physicals for Cordell School Athletics. The cost is $10 on Aug. 3 & 4 but if you miss you can still get the physical for $20 at the clinic.

CMH is partnering with the community through Facebook, local churches and our county schools to gather hygiene items that can be provided during the school year. This is our passion to provide for the kids and as well as health care for them. We are collecting items such as body wash/soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc. You are asked to bring these items by CMH and we will deliver to the schools throughout the school year. Check our fb page for more information.

Abby Parker is seeing patients at the Family Clinic. It is exciting to see what she brings to our community and her passion for women’s health. There will be more to come about what we will be offering for women of all ages.

We post frequently on Facebook and we have a website with information.

We are here for you. Any questions about our services or possible future services please contact me at 580-832- 3339.

For your health and wellness,

Melinda
