Easter Bunny hops into town this Saturday for event at Lee Park

The Cordell Chamber of Commerce will host its annual family-friendly Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 19th at Lee Park in Cordell. This will be a rain-orshine event with an alternative plan in place in case spring showers follow the Easter Bunny to town.The fun will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Illegal marijuana grow facility investigation results in shut-down in Washita County

In a coordinated effort among local and state agencies, an illegal marijuana grow operation was successfully shut down Thursday at the intersection OK-152 and OK-44 just west of Dill City in Washita County.

CENTENARIANS OF OKLAHOMA was pround to honor, Corn, Oklahoma resident, Viola Funk, on the occasion of her 100th birthday celebration and induct her into the Centenarians of Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Viola was a minister’s wife, a farm wife and a mother.
