Cordell Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) conducted training at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25. This training course consisted of patient packaging, rope rescue, vehicle extrication in a low angle setting, trauma assessment, team dynamics, and vehicle stabilization techniques.

The 2022 Washita County/CMH Health Fair was a great event that provided resources to be healthy and get moving. There were over 200 drawings and poetry that was submitted by each of the schools in Washita County. The winners were announced and those that attended Saturday received their award.

March is here with the wind sweeping down 183 and the start of spring, March 20. The outside temperature has been up and down, coats - no coats and long sleeves - short sleeves. Soon we will be in flip flops and enjoying outside before the heat of summer.
