A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

March is here with the wind sweeping down 183 and the start of spring, March 20. The outside temperature has been up and down, coats - no coats and long sleeves - short sleeves. Soon we will be in flip flops and enjoying outside before the heat of summer.

We are excited about spring and new things coming to CMH and Washita County. CMH wants to be an active part of you starting toward healthy living. Ways that we can be an active part is to provide services and education to keep you informed and involved in your healthy life.

The first is the Washita Wellness/CMH Health Fair on March 31 through April 2. There will be mornings at CMH on Thursday and Friday and Friday afternoon and Saturday at the Washita County Activity Center. There will health and safety for all ages and families. Many of our county services as well services from SWO- SU, Red Cross, OBI, and Health Dept. will be available to give you the right information for you and your family. This is different than the health fairs of the past, come and enjoy.

Any questions or you would like to participate in the health fair please contact CMH, 580-832- 3339.

We are going to be expanding our infusion services in the coming months in our vision to keep you receiving your care at home. There will be no need to drive or ride to OKC for necessary infusions to get your treatment and recovery.

Advancing our radiology services to include cardiac testing, will also keep you from driving or riding outside of Washita County for cardiac testing.

As these services are moving forward I will be telling you more details, process to participate and who to contact.

We are here for you, 580-832-3339

For your health and wellness,

Melinda
