Cordell Swimming Pool Hosts Another ‘Midnight Swim’

The Cordell municipal swimming pool stayed open late again Friday, July 19, to host another “Midnight Swim.” The pool was open until midnight, allowing patrons to enjoy the pool in the slightly less warm evening air.

The Cordell Fire Department was on hand with a grill, providing hot dogs to the swimmers.

Pool Manager Amber Rich said she is trying to schedule at least one more night swimming event before the season ends, but right now the schedule is very tight with people booking the pool for private parties.
