The Board opened Bid No. 2023-10 for the new fire department building construction and concrete for the Bessie Fire Department. A bid was received from the following: L & C Metal Buildings, LLC $346,000.00. Kenneth Trent, Emergency Manager, provided his training opportunities and events for the month of April including the following to the Board: April 7-9, 2024 – SWISS Team at Broken Bow for the Eclipse, April 10, 2024 – County District Training using the driving simulator, April 11, 2024 – ACCO Safety Conference, April 17, 2024 – LEPC Meeting, and April 24 – 25, 2024 – Southwest Workshop at Elk City.
