As the final whistle blows on another thrilling season, Cordell High School's soccer teams showcased their grit and determination in the last week of play. Facing formidable opponents, both the girls' and boys' teams left everything on the field, embodying the spirit of Cordell athletics.

On Tuesday, the teams battled it out at home against Kingfisher. Despite a valiant effort from the girls' team, they fell to a 10-3 defeat. Rylee's goal was a highlight, showcasing the team's fighting spirit till the very end. Meanwhile, the boys faced a tough challenge, ultimately losing 10-0.

Thursday brought another intense showdown, this time against Alva. The girls' team fought fiercely, with the match extending into double overtime and penalty kicks. Despite their efforts, they narrowly lost 6-4. Rylee's impressive two goals added to the team's commendable performance.

In an equally thrilling match, the boys' team pushed their limits, also enduring double overtime and penalty kicks. In a heart-stopping finish, they narrowly fell short, losing 7-6 to Alva. Dason's five goals and Harlee's contribution demonstrated the team's unwavering determination until the final whistle.

Although the season may have ended, the Cordell High School soccer teams have left an indelible mark with their passion, resilience, and sportsmanship.
