Marjorie Bose

Marjorie Bose passed on to rejoin family and friends on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of western Oklahoma. Marjorie Marie Bose was born Feb. 16, 1940, in Bessie, Edward Johann Sr. and Margrete Bose. She was the eighth child of nine living siblings.

Connie Karlene Broadhurst, 58, of Cordell, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Oct. 10, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was born on July 25, 1961, to Earl Dean and Charlotte (Knauf) Schmidt in Cordell.

Glenna W. Alexander was born in 1930 on the family farm near Rocky to Dixie Watson Williams and J.R. Williams. She departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was raised on the family farm and started elementary school at Center School.

John Thomas King 57, of Sentinel

John Thomas King Jr., 57, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 7, 2019. He was born on Sept. 18, 1962, to John Thomas Sr., and Mary Jo (Carmichael) King in Sentinel. John grew up and attended school in Sentinel, graduating from Sentinel High School in 1980.

Gene DeVern Reeves 86, of Dill City

Gene DeVern Reeves passed away in the home Saturday, Oct. 12. 2019.at the age of 86. He was born April 2, 1933, in Cordell. Gene was the second of three children to J.R. and Dala Reeves. He attended Dill City High School and graduated in 1951.

Betty Carene Johnson 84, of Dill City

Betty Johnson was born in Foss on Dec. 15, 1934, to Ralph and Felda (Wiggins) Crabb, and passed away on Oct. 5, 2019, in Clinton at the age of 84. Betty was raised in Foss, where she attended school at Burns Flat. Betty married A.C. Johnson on March 6, 1952, in Wheeler, Texas.

Carolyn Sue Heath, 77, of Yukon, formerly of Cordell, passed away peacefully on Sept. 24, 2019, at her home. She was born on June 17, 1942 to John Leo and Viola (Brubaker) Best in Elk City.
