Graveside services were held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Corn MB Cemetery in Corn, OK, for Laveta McLemore Hoock who passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Laveta “Bede” McLemore was born three miles southeast of Seger Colony, Oklahoma, on May 9, 1926.

Zane LeRoy Stubbs

The memorial service for Zane LeRoy Stubbs will be graveside at Poage Cemetery in Colony, Ok at 11am on Saturday December 5, 2020. Jim Constant will officiate. Zane was born March 7, 1961 in Enid, Oklahoma to Ruby and Johnnie Stubbs. Zane lost his battle with cancer on November 22,2020.

Tony Ray Willis

Tony Ray Willis was born Sept. 13, 1950, in Hobart, OK, to Bill and Billie Willis. He joined the home with his older brother Danny. Ten years later, Mary Penner was born and 12 years later his little sister, Lynn Penner was added to the family.

James Kenneth Downs

James Kenneth Downs, 58, of Clinton, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 22, 2020. He was born on June 11, 1962 to James Leo and Sandra Kay (Kilpatrick) Downs in Shamrock, Texas. Kenny grew up and attended school in Erick, OK, graduating from Erick High School in 1980.

Esthel Dudley Griffith

Esthel Dudley Griffith,75, of Rocky, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Nov. 21, 2020. He was born on Jan. 2, 1945, to Esthel and Ora Mae (Holman) Griffithin Rocky, OK. Dudley grew up and attended school in Rocky, graduating from Rocky High School in 1963.

Billy Wayne Phillips

Billy Wayne Phillips was born on Oct. 10, 1934, to Leslie “Les” and Tennie Phillips at home southwest of Colony, Oklahoma and passed away on Nov. 26, 2020, in Carnegie, Oklahoma. At a young age Billy and his family moved to Lake Valley, not far from Gotebo.

Lynda Carol Watkins

Lynda Carol Watkins 76, Hobart, OK died Saturday, Nov 28, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK of an illness unrelated to Covid-19. She was born Aug. 16, 1944, to Donna Maxine Burchfiel in Mt. View Ok and raised by Charles Edgar Burchfiel and Maxine in Pauls Valley, OK.

Graveside services for Frank Russell, 91, Cordell resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 7, 2020 in the Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell, OK, officiated by Rev. Carl Thionett and Rev. Jimmie Pricket. Services are under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.

Lynn Dean Dobbs, 74, of Rocky, Oklahoma passed away on Nov. 10, 2020 at the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. He was born on July 5, 1946 to Louis and Creta (Diffendaffer) Dobbs in Rocky, OK. Lynn grew up and attended school in Rocky, graduating from Rocky High School in 1965.

Gene Jorgensen

Gene Jorgensen, 72, died Nov. 15, 2020, peacefully at his home in Cordell, Oklahoma. Gene was born on December 12, 1948, in Clintonville, Wisconsin. Gene’s family moved to McAlester, Oklahoma, and then later to Midwest City where Gene graduated from Midwest City High School.
