. Stuart William Akers passed away at his home in Gilroy, CA, early on September 1, 2021, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born on July 6, 1945, in Sentinel, OK, to William F. Akers and Nettie Holt Akers. He grew up in Cordell, OK, and graduated from high school in 1963.

Doris Jean Wiest, 86, of Bessie, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021 at the River Valley Living Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was born to William and Maudie (Moody) Allen in Akins, Oklahoma on April 22nd, 1935.

Juanita (Billie) Maxine Johnson was born April 29, 1920, in Foster, Oklahoma to Gillie and Pearl Stotts. Billie died December 23, 2020, in Elk City, Oklahoma. She and Carl Allison lived in Lancaster, California for many years and moved to Burns Flat in 1994. They were together for 52 years.

Carl Imler Allison Jr.

Carl Imler Allison Jr. was born August 16, 1935, in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania to Verna Burket Allison and Carl I. Allison. Carl died May 18, 2019, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dolores Taylor. Carl served in the Air Force for 20 years.
