For those who didn’t get enough bargain hunting this summer, or who have somehow already accumulated more things to get rid of, Cordell is getting another chance to buy, sell, and treasure hunt.
The Cordell Chamber of Commerce will host a Fall Town-Wide Garage Sale this Saturday, September 19, with sales taking place all day across town.
Much like Cordell’s annual summer town-wide garage sale, the fall event came about after the Chamber heard requests from community members for another round of garage sales later in the year. The Chamber listened and delivered, giving residents an extra opportunity to clean out closets, garages, and spare rooms, and giving shoppers an excuse to fill theirs back up.
Those ready to hunt for bargains won’t have to wander around town hoping to spot a garage sale sign. A list and map of participating addresses will be available on the Cordell Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. Eager shoppers can also find the list on page two of this week’s Cordell Beacon, and paper maps will be available at local convenience stores beginning Friday.
Whether you’re searching for furniture, clothes, toys, home decor, or that one completely unnecessary item, Saturday may be the day to find it.
Grab your map, bring some cash, and keep an eye out for the best deals, because when it comes to garage sales, the early bird usually gets the good stuff.
