July is Wound Healing Awareness Month, WHAM!!

Cordell Memorial Hospital will be celebrating with a special day on July 19th for you to come and visit our Wound Care Center and Wound C a r e staff at the hospital.

We are excited to introduce you to our new Wound Care Provider, Dr. Lynnette Morrison. You are invited to come and meet her and see the CMH Wound Care Center team for our open house and free foot screening. There will be a special time to meet Dr. Morrison from 12:00-1:30pm in the Dining room. Dr. Morrison is a certified wound care physician and we are very fortunate to have her in Cordell.

Following the open house at 1:30 there will be our foot screening event located in the wound clinic. People with diabetes, prediabetes, or who are experiencing numbness or tingling in their feet are encouraged to attend. Walk-in appointments are accepted or by scheduling an appointment calling 580-832-3330. Appointments will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are excited to share this service you and hope you take advantage of receiving your wound care close to home.

We have completed the Community Health Needs Assessment that provided information to help us better serve the community. One of the items that we found is that we need to be better at communicating and sharing with you the services and care that is provided at CMH.
