The Cordell Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 38th Annual Cordell Pumpkin Festival & Car Show, happening Saturday, October 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Historic Downtown Cordell.
The day begins at 7:00 a.m. with the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast at 4th & College Church, a local favorite that kicks off the festivities. From there, guests are invited to explore a full day of family fun on the square, featuring:
• A large vendor market with shopping and food
• • The popular Car Show
• • A kids’ area hosted by the Cordell Elementary PTO
•• A parade, baking contest, bingo, and more
• • The thrilling Burn Out Contest
• • And many other community activities In addition, the Washita County Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the Cordell Fire Department’s Haunted Morgue will open at 8:00 p.m.
Admission to walk around the festival is free, though individual activities and shopping may have costs.
The Chamber would like to thank the 4th & College Church, the Cordell Elementary PTO, the 405 Goons, the City of New Cordell, the Cordell Arts and Humanities Council, the Cordell Fire Department, Mrs. Bobeck’s class, and all participating vendors for helping make this community tradition possible.
