LADY BLUE DEVILS TRAIN LIKE COWGIRLS:

Cordell Basketball takes on OSU Elite Camp Experience

The Cordell Lady Blue Devils laced up and leveled up last week as they traveled to Oklahoma State University for the Jacie Hoyt High School Elite Camp, getting a taste of what it’s like to train like Cowgirls.

The team hit the court with intensity, powering through fast-paced drills designed to sharpen their skills and challenge their endurance. The Lady Devils competed against top-tier teams, matching their talents and pushing their limits in a competitive, high-energy environment.

But the day wasn’t just about buckets and defense. The girls scored a behind-the-scenes tour of OSU’s elite women’s basketball facilities, led by Assistant Coach Kelby Jones. The Lady Blue Devils got an inside look at the life of a Cowgirl, visiting the state-of-the-art film room, player lounge, locker room, recovery room, and weight room.

One of the highlights? Meeting OSU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Jacie Hoyt herself! The Lady Devils had the opportunity to meet Coach Hoyt and snap some memorable photos, making for an unforgettable experience on and off the court.

With summer heating up, the Lady Blue Devils are working hard to elevate their game, and after training like Cowgirls, they’re more motivated than ever to bring that energy back to their court.
