Cordell Memorial Hospital

A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

May is here and the first weeks in May we celebrate our nurses and the second week we have Hospital Week. Please see our posts on Facebook and any nurse or CMH employee you see and know be sure to thank them for their service and commitment to you!!!

May is Mental Health month, and we will be wearing green on May 14th to support the awareness of mental health. The color green represents renewal, hope and vitality. Join us in wearing green to help show support and break down the stigma.

Tuesday, April 22, was the first day for WIC at the CMH Women’s Clinic. We did not have a good response, and we want you to share and encourage anyone with needs to come receive benefits. This will continue the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 9am to Noon and 1pm until 4p. WIC has been away from Cordell for many years, and we are very happy to have it return to Cordell. We want to thank our partners with the Kiowa County Health Department, and we are excited to be working with them.

Remember, May is a busy month!! We celebrate our nurses and we celebrate CMH. We are so happy to serve the people of Cordell and Washita County. We celebrate you!!!!

I hope you have enjoyed the highlights of staff and departments at CMH on our Facebook page. We celebrate all our employees and want you too also. We are one team caring for you!!!

For your health and wellness,

Melinda
