We are almost through the first month of 2025 and things have been busy. There is the impact of influenza felt across the state with activity above the national percentage. Every county in Oklahoma has many cases of flu, including Washita. So please remember to wash your hands, stay home when you are sick, if you haven’t already received it, get the flu vaccine.
Last week we began serving our lunch to the public and have had a wonderful response. Our dietary team are excited to provide you with a meal and look forward to seeing many of you coming to visit the hospital. The meals are Monday through Friday 12:00 to 1:00 with the salad bar starting at 11:00 at a cost of $5.00. We post each day the menu for the day. Come and have lunch with us!!
February is heart month, and we will be offering the Cardiac Scan for $50 for the month of February. We want you to take care of your heart. We have Dr. Fong from St. Anthony Cardiology available to care for your heart needs. Please contact the hospital for contact information.
The CMH Women’s Clinic continues to receive women from western Oklahoma. It has been off to a great start since we began this in June. In celebration of the Women’s Clinic, we will have an open house on Tuesday February 4, 2025, from 9:00 to 12:00. We will have morning treats, and this is an opportunity for you to meet the women providers in the clinic, April, Kelsey, Lea, Lana and Gabby. We want to encourage you to feel welcome and come by anytime to meet the team.
