We are needing to clarify that the Summer Kid Feeding is not a pick up but come in and eat with us. You come into CMH and go through the line then sit down and enjoy time for lunch. We have celebrated those who have come these first couple weeks and look forward to those coming this summer.
The CMH Women’s Clinic has been serving the community at the Specialty Clinic for the past couple of weeks with great success. We are excited to offer these services to the women of Cordell and Washita County. The services provided will be for women of all ages, first time, menopausal, prenatal and postpartum care, the list
can go on. We are adding a Nurse Midwife and a Nurse Practitioner who is a lactation consultant. All needs for all women are provided by our providers in the clinic.
June is a month for healthy observances such as sun protection for cancer prevention. The importance of avoiding excessive exposure to the sun’s rays is the best prevention.
This is also the time of year to start hydrating yourself and keep it going for the summer. We are outside more, the sun and activity impacts hydration and this is when you need to drink more water. Other ways in addition to water include eating more fruits and vegetables, this rebalances our bodies.
